St. Agnes Crucifix Post #11

Jesus got his other arm on earlier this week. It took me a few hours to get it cut, sanded and to line it up. My lovely wife helped me to see the placement of the arm. I was struggling to see and hold the arm up at the same time. She was kind enough to help between patients to hold the arm up while I took a few steps back to get a better view.

I am not sure how much I will get done before Christmas. Things seem to get busy and hectic this time of year.

    Hi Andy,
you do a very nice job making the crucifix. It already looks very good.
The Saint for carpenters is St. Joseph (at least here in Belgium; I do not know if this is ‘international’). But carpenters are not the same as woodcarvers. A woodcarver is much more details and finishing touches.
It must be very nice working together, you and Linda in such a job.
Hope you keep your motivation to go further on.
    Love from Belgium.
